For users involved in TikTok live streaming, cross-border e-commerce, or anyone who needs a stable and clean US IP environment, network quality and IP reputation are two critical factors when choosing a VPS. Recently, a new provider established in 2025 — GoodlyClouds — caught our attention with three key selling points: Los Angeles location, NTT + AS4837 optimized routing, and native dual-ISP residential IPs.
According to the provider, all IPs are newly allocated and highly clean, making them especially suitable for TikTok operations. But how does the actual performance hold up? Today, we’re taking an in-depth look at their entry-level package featuring 1 vCPU, 1GB RAM, 1TB monthly traffic, and 1Gbps bandwidth, priced at ¥432/year (equivalent to just ¥36/month after discount), to see whether it truly delivers good value for money.

Comprehensive Performance Review (Based on Plan 1)
1. Hardware and Disk I/O Performance
According to the NodeQuality report, this VPS is based on KVM virtualization and powered by a high-performance AMD EPYC 7532 processor. The Geekbench 5 single-core score reaches 1042, which is impressive for a VPS in this price range and more than sufficient for most workloads.
Disk I/O performance is particularly outstanding. 4K read/write speeds exceed 280MB/s, while large block read/write performance surpasses 2GB/s. This indicates the provider is using high-performance NVMe SSD storage, ensuring extremely fast response times for websites and applications alike.
2. IP Quality and Streaming Unlock Capability
This is the core selling point of the GoodlyClouds VPS. Multiple testing tools produced very positive results:
- Dual-ISP Residential IP: Both ipinfo.io and ping0.cc identify the IP as either dual-ISP or residential broadband IP. This means the IP is recognized as a residential user rather than a data center IP, which provides a major advantage for TikTok, e-commerce platforms, and other services with strict anti-abuse systems.
- IP Reputation: The fraud score is only 9%, rated as an “extremely clean” native IP. This is extremely valuable for users who require a trusted and uncontaminated IP environment.
- Streaming Unlock Capability:
Overall, the IP performance fully matches its “clean” and “native” marketing claims, making it highly suitable for TikTok live streaming and content creation applications.
3. Network Performance: Latency, Routing, and Speed
Mainland China Latency
Nationwide ping tests show average latency across the three major Chinese ISPs at approximately 190ms. China Telecom and China Unicom perform particularly well, with latency typically ranging between 160ms and 190ms, which is excellent for a US West Coast server.
Outbound Routing
- China Telecom: Backbone direct connection to the US West Coast, then connected to NTT.
- China Unicom: Uses the premium AS4837 optimized route directly to Los Angeles.
- China Mobile: Routes through Hong Kong and Japan before entering the NTT network.
Inbound Routing (Most Important Part)
Based on multiple tests using BestTrace and NetQuality scripts, all three major Chinese ISPs — China Telecom, China Unicom, and China Mobile — consistently use the China Unicom AS4837 (CUVIP) premium return route.
This ensures that even during peak traffic hours, data traveling from the server back to mainland China users follows a high-quality, low-congestion route, significantly improving speed and stability.
China Mainland Speed Test
With 1Gbps bandwidth, speed tests to mainland China nodes produced the following results:
- China Telecom / China Unicom: Upload and download speeds consistently reached 800–900Mbps+, delivering extremely strong performance.
- China Mobile: Slightly slower overall, but still more than sufficient for live streaming, remote desktop access, and related applications.
