DMIT IP Replacement Policy
DMIT provides a flexible IP replacement mechanism.
Free IP Replacement (Premium & Eyeball)
You may request a free new IP if all conditions are met:
- The server has been active for more than 7 days
- At least 15 days have passed since the last IP change
- The current IP is unreachable via ICMP and all TCP ports
- At least 7 days remain on the service
Paid IP Replacement (Premium & Eyeball)
If conditions are not met, IP replacement is available for a fee:
- Server active for more than 24 hours
- At least 24 hours since last IP change
- At least 24 hours remaining on service
- Fee: $5 per change
Tier1 Network IP Rules
Tier1 network only supports paid IP replacement:
- Server active for more than 24 hours
- At least 3 days since last change
- At least 3 days remaining
- Fee: $5 per change

- IP addresses are randomly assigned
- No guarantee of specific geo-location
- IP change is irreversible
LAX Pro IPv6 Network Explanation
In DMIT LAX Pro series, IPv6 does not use CN2 routing.
Reason:
- AS4809 has not fully deployed domestic IPv6 routing
- Most cross-border IPv6 traffic still relies on AS4134
Therefore, even if CN2 IPv6 is configured, its performance is similar to AS4134 and may even be slightly worse.
