OneVPS Singapore VPS Local Ping Latency Test
We first conducted a local Ping latency test, which showed an average latency of around 290ms. Compared to typical Singapore VPS standards, this latency is slightly high, and the network stability is average with occasional packet loss.
China National Three Network Ping Test
Next, we tested latency across China’s three major ISPs. The results are as follows:
- China Telecom: approximately 299ms;
- China Unicom: approximately 274ms;
- China Mobile: approximately 227ms.
- China Telecom: outbound routing goes through Tokyo, Japan before reaching the Singapore data center.
- China Unicom: traffic originates from Beijing, passes through San Jose (USA), and then reaches Singapore.
- China Mobile: traffic originates from Shanghai, passes through San Jose (USA), and then reaches Singapore.
- Plan 1: 1 CPU core, 512MB RAM, 20GB SSD storage, $11/month;
- Plan 2: 1 CPU core, 768MB RAM, 30GB SSD storage, $13/month;
- Plan 3: 2 CPU cores, 1GB RAM, 50GB SSD storage, $16/month;
- Plan 4: 2 CPU cores, 1.5GB RAM, 70GB SSD storage, $20/month.
