On March 11, 2025, cloud computing giant AWS (Amazon Web Services) announced that the Chinese AI large language model DeepSeek-R1 has officially been fully launched on the Amazon Bedrock platform. Enterprise AI Services Now Easy to Access
As the first Chinese large model available on Amazon Bedrock, DeepSeek-R1 has attracted thousands of enterprise testers since its early release. Its efficient training architecture significantly reduces inference costs, reportedly to only 5%–10% of comparable models. In real-world tests, some enterprises found that processing million-scale data tasks reduced total costs from tens of thousands of yuan to just a few thousand, greatly improving AI cost efficiency. Previously, DeepSeek-R1 was available on the Amazon Bedrock Marketplace for users to deploy on their own infrastructure.
