Background
Alibaba Cloud has recently introduced a new 200Mbps bandwidth Light Application Server series, available in multiple regions including Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia). The pricing is slightly higher compared to the older generation plans.
Although Alibaba Cloud does not explicitly state a traffic limit, customer service has indicated that the new plans do not impose a strict bandwidth cap. However, during periods of high demand, system resources may be subject to contention or throttling.
It is also worth noting that after the launch of the new specifications, the previous ¥24 and ¥34 Hong Kong Light Server plans no longer display the “Sold Out Today” notice. This may suggest adjustments in resource allocation or inventory management.
To avoid potential backend monitoring or resource limitations, users are advised to operate their servers prudently and consider optimizing system configurations to improve resource efficiency.
